mist light
dismiss it
late at night
I saw the ghost
but i missed it
as it danced in the fog

a small present
a bark from a dog
and a car alarm went off
i fell back with half
a heart attack
i stood back
i see a face so lovely i could kiss it
i drop the wallet in my hand
and in my soul he looks within
out on reprimand
he carfelly returns it
through the broken glass
and disappears as my heart beats its last
then i hear children playing
nearby in the park
and the police car shows up
in the dark shivering
they then pick me up
i take one last look
for the man
and feel
a part of me is
missing
