all great rivers must come around again
every drop of water absorbed by the ground
all of the wind goes round the globe the same
way that young prophets may go unheard
and laughed at as if what they say is
absurd but I'm keeping the faith like

every passion renews the world a little more
every knock can make a person open their door
every line of music and poetry can definitely show
a crystal dewdrop star to make the flowers grow
and every young person knows something or
what. but the people in charge are definitively twots
but time is counted down by the drip of an iceberg

10 years or twenty long years from now
the world will have changed but science knows how
the world can be cherished and can keep the fire
with help from a passion, yet no man deny her
or any young person who would change the earth
but won't or can't do it because at a birth. he was torn from the granite

and as for her manner her science and custom
let's embrace nature and go back to darwin
and realise that with a tree it begins

the moment chopped down all civility
will be gone with the wind
and so people too
if we do not have faith to read or to show

but I saw a girl on my tv set
she cast her opinion with primaeval passion and wept

let's hope that the youth's voices don't go unheard
