witty p.o.s

love was meant to hurt
of course it was
you put it on the line because
you want to share the world
so it isn't useless

but i felt upset
cause in deceit
i felt a great
something, so devious
i thought it did complete itself
in affairs very much mischevious

hanging about my office: hell
and in my small apartment cell
i knew the gospels preached it thus
and now im all but certain that
a long strong disease is what it is
a word that did deplete through time
when you have love its not a crime
but when reading ovids art of love
just think and stop at every line
that loves and think of now
i feel the time has passed
we all have caught this word


and heard and laughed and then discussed


but with no idea of what it was?
