dark lament

angel
you will get through such fog
such dirt in the city, victorian smog
flies and fleas are biting
at your whimsome nightmares

after dark all light bears
procreating
that hateful mirror
reflects a man no longer
bound to such light
and such forces

angel girl
i throw an ember
a fire pearl
an ocean whirl
a wave
slice through the fog
climb the buildings

my alice Liddel
a riddle that just gains
confusion, as puberty
is driven into her

more and more
cut the halo
it explains too much
keep exhausting male minds
til midnights stark hush

break yourself off
a heart infested
a parasite impaired
manifesting in words
so vulgar in such younger ears

whip the chill
feel the thrill
of a man
it won't cease to be
until life is gone
fight the fog
see the barriers
on the chessboard
in your tumours heart
are there chained up
as you grow old
now gone
escape sunlight
for your happy wish
and be as warm
as you are cold
to look upon
