fairies running ringlets
observe the wash your hands sign
blake teetering in his cottage

out of sleep
halfway sleepless
insert the daze
into sleepy eyes
dolly cradle
 only the bitter mannequin
is able
to encase the frost
in their white cheeks
daisys slumbering
chimney ash

walking the long path
into sleeps dark dominion
caverns and haunted stables
