fight
your way out
of dusk
jump into fog
and fall in the abyss

a scream went blistering
it sliced at all the lamps
then went quietly whispering
into the curtain dust

Mrs mam did you hear it
will you look?

do you see the white thing
his sullen flesh laid bare

i see nothing the furniture
is as once was, sitting as it does, quietly there
the kitchen though in the day
a buzz
is silent now as yesteryears
frost has laid upon the doorstep
to show us nothing fears

so fear we must not
for nothings there
 I heard it cut out half the night
limping and lingering off
how can you trust in such
preconceived settling when murder
is out, so is lust

im turning it off
I'm going to bed
as i lay down
i quietly about
while inside my head
could she be dead
turn your brain off now
stop giving it power
there's an end to a scene
that burst out your dream
there's an full stop to a scream
