Milton.....

normally when driving near the more off-places in the country you can come across some amazing things
Milton is one of those things!!!!
let me list amazing things about it
Milton is a mythic place that can catch you off guard like a swatter on a windowsill (if you were reincarnated as a fly)
Milton is often intriguingly boring
Milton is quite warm quite cold quite humid and quite hot all at different times of the day 
Milton has streets named after poets (none local I'm afraid)
Milton is home to my homies (well, they have scattered a bit since high school)
Milton has a fantastic high school you will love rebelling against 
ancient Miltoners were very good at pottery (and barnraisings) as well as exorcisms* 
Milton is invisible to dead people 
Milton doesn't exist (that's a shocker when you find out that it does indeed exist)
it's not Kaitangata (which is lurvley)
Milton has trees 
and the best thing about Milton is the diversity and width of kindness in its people

Milton is great. Come visit if you like a town that it takes longer to get to than to explore 
but most of all learn that magic is in small places 
because I personally believe if you squint and stare for a few minutes, you'll find it chipper

*if you can't see any barn-raisings or exorcisms happening, that's probably because the writer made it up....
