dead inside
the violet that grew
the light lit off a spark
my hands were pins and needles
hammered down into the bark
a post here that was mangled
brutally murdered frost the chill
that wavered in the streamlet lake
and gulped amidst the hills
I think of sullen good king David
slitting in his part
a role of life
a death of hate
that knew
all the time that grew
our hatred there was truthful too
growing in stark contrast
and i know the moon will echo still
in this abandoned unmusement park
I die I hope to see tomorrow
raging in a laugh
I go I hope the daisies follow
praying in the dark!!!
