lyric
come again
fair made
the sun in your brow
sets the dew on the glade
emotion, and may
it comes again, love
some other age
that foul strain
that sweetens the grain
i take the door to taverns
i do get dizzy with the shadow
that she (my gal!!!)puts on the morrow
and sinks the furrow
in better thought
then to give two
cents:to sorrow
the poet
that has died
i heard his passing
saw the shades of death advancing
and took the fleece of the sheep
as the struggle of time still prancing
along, alas as if still happy
took him to the borough
where he still does lie
and lies forever
when the dogs are yapping
i think of his voice
and hope its song is complete
with pain
s'much the same
as his fair maid
who gives midnight shades the whack
and hurries them up to make it snappy
